Our story

Recover began with a knock on the door and a conversation that changed everything.

That moment revealed a need for safe, faith-aware, and non-judgemental support in our community.

Today, we continue that journey walking alongside individuals and families with compassion, trust, and deep cultural understanding.

Our mission

To help people overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and reconnect with hope, purpose, and loved ones — through holistic, person-centred care.

Our vision

A community where no one faces addiction alone and everyone can access the support they need to recover and thrive.

Our
approach

Our approach is simple: meet people where they are with compassion, cultural understanding, and lived experience.

We walk alongside individuals and families, offering practical, non-judgmental support through every step of the recovery journey.

We offer confidential support by providing a safe space for honest conversations. Talk to someone in person at our physical hub, or reach out to us online, or over the phone.

Our support staff are local volunteers and peer mentors – many of whom have been there, faced addiction in the past, and come through it. They’re here to listen, and provide personalised help with your unique circumstances in mind.

Addiction can be tough to confront – or even acknowledge – in cultures where it’s considered a taboo subject. Our advisors and mentors are here to listen and support you, without prejudice or judgment.

Family and wider social support is integral to recovery. We’ll work with your close network to help ensure you have the right help in place.

You're not alone, we're here to help.

If you or someone you care about is struggling with addiction or related challenges, reach out to us in confidence. A member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible to talk about support options that feel right for you.

We treat all messages with care, compassion, and complete confidentiality.
